My Top Five Spiritual/Personal Growth Books

I am an avid reader when it comes to spiritual or personal growth books. Many years ago, I read at least two hours a day. I would get up really early, grab a cup of coffee and sit in my reading chair, facing the beautiful Colorado mountains and I would read. I’ve probably read dozens and dozens of books by authors such as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Michael Singer, Michael Bernard Beckwith, and many more. Out of all the books I’ve read, I’ve listed the top 5 books that have impacted my life. Did my life change drastically after reading these books? Maybe in a small way but mostly, I took away something from each that I could turn to in order to get through a difficult situation or a hard time in my life.

So here are the five books that I will always refer to in my life:

  1. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success-A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams by Deepak Chopra. This is a small book and a fast read but full of amazing information on how to use spiritual laws to make sense of your life.
  2. The Untethered Soul-The Journey Beyond Yourself by Michael A. Singer. I couldn’t put this book down when I read it.
  3. The Four Agreements-A Toltec Wisdom Book by Don Miguel Ruiz This is probably the most widely known book of all the books I’ve read. Most people have heard of it.
  4. The Success Principles-How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be by Jack Canfield. This book has so much worthwhile and practical information and he tells great stories as well.
  5. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People-Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Stephen R. Covey. This book was written in 1989 and I still refer to this book from time to time. The information is still relevant and useful.

I will be covering each book in my Spiritual Book Club section of my blog so watch out for more juicy information on each of these books.
